You’ve got a great idea. Your salad bar is what people want, but the greens aren’t going to sell themselves and there are lots of things you can do to make the profits soar and send your business higher.
Less is more
If the saladette counter has dozens of different items, great. But don’t display all of the stock you own at once. No-one wants to sift through mounds of food.
Put the least expensive items in direct view of the customer. Nobody wants to look around for the best deal, so put it where they can see it. Put proteins at the back and veggies at the front to encourage sales on salad items.
Chop down to size
No selling entire peppers and giant chunks of carrot. Smaller sizes help people measure out what they eat without irritating levels of chopping. Do it for them …
